‘Something to look forward to in Julidans: the 60-minute version of 30, about ticking time', Volkskrant wrote.

Together with the installation Seconds, 30 is part of a series on the concept of time.

Ben-Tal founded his collective OFFprojects with dancers who were previously affiliated with, among others, Nederlands Dans Theater, the Israeli Batsheva Dance Company and Emanuel Gat Dance - who are among the best dance companies in the world. As a choreographer Amos Ben-Tal often goes off the beaten track, hence the name: OFFprojects. For him, dance naturally goes together with other disciplines, such as literature, performance and music.

His multidisciplinary performances are welcomed. For Howl (a collaboration with Spinvis) Ben-Tal received the prestigious Dioraphte Dance Award 2016 From the jury report: ‘By seeking the diversity, the complex and at the same time the universal and common of man in his performance, Ben-Tal invites us to communicate. With the help of the incredible skills of the performers, he makes everyone aware of their own humanity.’

Meer over de makers

60 is a collaboration with ICK Amsterdam. This platform for contemporary dance, led by Emio Greco & Pieter C. Scholten, produces international dance performances and initiates collaborations with guest artists. Ben-Tal previously created one of the seven choreographies for 7EVEN in collaboration with ICK Amsterdam and Ballet National de Marseille, to be seen during Julidans 2017.

60 is part of Julidans NL, a showcase of interesting dance makers in the Netherlands for international dance programmers The Julidans NL performances are also open to the public.
