Artistiek directeur Conny Janssen, een van de meest toonaangevende choreografen in Nederland, selecteert elke editie in samenwerking met Dansateliers en Korzo een bijzondere verscheidenheid aan talent. In DANSLOKAAL 14 zijn dat Lea Ved (Korzo), Amparo González Sola (Dansateliers) en Maciej Kuźmiński (Conny Janssen Danst). De jonge makers krijgen de kans om binnen de professionele context van het gezelschap te werken aan de ontwikkeling van hun eigen signatuur. Het resultaat is een verrassende voorstelling met drie eigenzinnige, korte werken: maak kennis met een nieuwe generatie dansmakers!

What does the future hold for Dutch dance? That’s what you discover in DANSLOKAAL: Conny Janssen Danst’s annual talent hub, where talented makers are invited to develop new work with the dancers of the Rotterdam company.
For each event artistic director Conny Janssen, one of the leading choreographers in the Netherlands, selects promising choreographers with diverse backgrounds in collaboration with Dansateliers and Korzo. The contributors to DANSLOKAAL 14 are choreographers Lea Ved (Korzo), Amparo González Sola (Dansateliers) and Maciej Kuźmiński (Conny Janssen Danst). The young choreographers get the opportunity to work on the development of their own signature within the professional context of the company. The result is a surprising performance with three distinctive, short pieces: meet a new generation of dance makers!
